Aura Secures $140 Million to Expand AI-Powered Online Safety for Families
Aura just pulled in a hefty $140 million in fresh funding, proving once again that online safety is serious business.

The newly independent company, which recently spun off from Pango Group, closed its Series G round with backing from Ten Eleven Ventures, Madrone Capital, and AT&T Ventures, alongside existing investors like Accel, Warburg Pincus, and General Catalyst.
That brings Aura’s valuation to $1.6 billion, a solid jump considering the split from Pango, now rebranded as Point Wild.
With digital threats multiplying faster than spam emails, Aura’s AI-powered security platform is becoming a must-have for families looking to stay safe online. The company’s all-in-one solution covers everything from fraud protection to cyberbullying alerts, making digital safety less of a headache.
Consumers are clearly on board, with the company reporting a 50 percent year-over-year GAAP revenue growth in 2024.
"We are seeing tremendous momentum in the business and today's funding announcement will enable Aura to extend our leadership in AI-powered features that not only keep families safe but help them thrive in an increasingly connected world," said founder and CEO Hari Ravichandran.
Investors are equally bullish on Aura’s approach. "Aura's innovative and comprehensive approach to online digital health and safety clearly positions it as a leader in protecting families in our increasingly connected world,” said Alex Doll, Founder and General Partner of Ten Eleven Ventures.
He emphasized the value of Aura’s integrated platform, which focuses on family-wide protection rather than piecemeal solutions for individual devices.
This round marks Aura’s first raise since parting ways with Pango Group in May 2024. The separation created two independent entities, and today’s valuation suggests that the combined worth of Aura and Point Wild now stands at $3.3 billion, up from their pre-split $2.5 billion.
With new funding in the bank, Aura is setting its sights on even smarter AI-driven safety features, expected to roll out later this year.
For families navigating the ever-growing risks of the digital world, it looks like Aura is not just keeping up, it is leading the charge.
