Starbucks Drinks Menu Revamp: Say Goodbye to These 13 Drinks
Starbucks is undergoing significant changes to its menu and corporate structure in early 2025. On February 24, the company announced plans to eliminate 1,100 corporate positions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. These reductions will not affect in-store employees, focusing instead on support roles to reduce complexity and improve accountability.
In addition to the corporate restructuring, Starbucks is revamping its beverage offerings. Starting March 4, 2025, the company will remove 13 less popular drinks from its menu, including:
- Iced Matcha Lemonade
- Espresso Frappuccino
- Caffè Vanilla Frappuccino
- White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino
- Java Chip Frappuccino
- Chai Crème Frappuccino
- Caramel Ribbon Crunch Crème Frappuccino
- Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino
- Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème Frappuccino
- White Chocolate Crème Frappuccino
- White Hot Chocolate
- Royal English Breakfast Latte
- Honey Almondmilk Flat White
This decision aims to simplify the menu by approximately 30%, allowing for improved efficiency and the introduction of new, innovative beverages.
To fill the gap left by the discontinued items, Starbucks is introducing new drinks, such as:
- Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha
- Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte
- Iced Cherry Chai
These additions are part of the company’s strategy to focus on offerings that resonate more with customers and streamline operations.
These changes reflect Starbucks’ commitment to refining its brand identity and enhancing the customer experience through a more focused menu and efficient operations.
