Allegiant Stadium, inaugurated in 2020, is the home field of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Rebels college football team.

The stadium has also hosted a variety of events, including concerts and international sporting events.

Despite the announced layoffs, Allegiant Stadium has several events planned before the closure.

Notably, the Rugby League Las Vegas 2025 event is scheduled for March 1, 2025, featuring a historic four-game schedule to be played at the stadium.

Mayday's 25th Anniversary Tour is set for a one-night-only performance on March 29, 2025.

The closure of operations at Allegiant Stadium and the subsequent layoffs by Levy highlights the challenges faced by large venues and their service providers in maintaining operations.

The specific reasons behind the stadium's closure have not been detailed in the available sources.
