Target Announces Taylor Swift Eras Tour Book on Black Friday
Target is once again bringing excitement to Black Friday with an exclusive offering for Taylor Swift fans. The retailer announced two new Taylor Swift releases that will be available exclusively in stores, starting on the biggest shopping day of the year.
For those Swifties looking to add to their collection, Target has got you covered with a special behind-the-scenes book from "The Eras Tour" and a vinyl version of "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology" album.
As Swift’s legions of fans know, exclusivity is everything, and Target is making sure this release feels special.
Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Target, couldn't hide his excitement, saying:
"Shopping at Target is all about finding amazing products you can't get anywhere else, which is why we're so excited about this next chapter in our long relationship with Taylor Swift."
He added, "Target is at our best when we're creating access to joyful experiences, and that's exactly what this represents — a new way for everyone to immerse themselves in Taylor's concert and music, right in time for the holiday season."
The star of the show is the "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book," a hefty 256-page volume priced at $39.99, offering an in-depth look at the mega tour. Featuring more than 500 images, including never-before-seen photos from each of Taylor's eras, as well as intimate shots from rehearsals, this book promises to be a treasure trove for fans.
As if the imagery weren’t enough, Swift herself has penned personal reflections throughout, giving a glimpse into the experience behind the tour. "Here is the official retrospective of the most wondrous tour of my life, my beloved Eras Tour," Swift said, expressing gratitude to her fans who made the tour such a monumental event.
But Target isn’t stopping there. Alongside the tour book, the retailer will offer "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology" on both CD and vinyl. This 35-track collection, including four bonus acoustic songs, has previously only been available digitally.
Now, die-hard collectors can snag the CD for $17.99 or the vinyl for $59.99. For those who prefer their music with an aesthetic touch, the vinyl set features four translucent marbled discs and a never-before-seen poster of Swift.
It’s yet another example of how Taylor Swift and Target have partnered to create exclusive, fan-favorite releases, with this being the latest in a long line of collaborations, including the record-setting Phantom Clear vinyl release earlier this year.
Shoppers will need to act fast, though. Both the book and the album will only be available at Target stores on Black Friday while supplies last. And if you miss out, you’ll have to wait until the following day when the products will be available on the Target app and website.
