They try to bring another perspective to the current one and show live reactions to their audience, which is going crazy on YouTube as almost every other YouTube is (actually) doing the same thing but in his/her own style.

The Try Guys were earning money on YouTube and with their advertisement partnerships but it turns out they were spending more than what YouTube was giving them per video, as co-founder Zach Kornfeld told CNBC:

“We got to a point where it cost more money for us to make the shows our audience loved than we got in from YouTube”

It was becoming hard and hard for them to keep their audience intact so they decided to launch their own private platform where their fans can watch old and new shows.

The platform is called 2nd Try (available at 2ndtry.tv) and is currently a website with subscription plans and an ad-free experience.

The Try Guys are aiming high to make this platform their main source of income as it is currently generating 20% of the company's revenue while the platform is just 3 months old.

So basically The Try Guys are going to create Netflix for content creators and they even don’t know about it.
