The seed financing round for Sparrow BioAcoustics was led by Killick Capital, Klister Credit, and Pelorus Ventures. This significant investment represents a major milestone for Sparrow as it continues to advance in the medical AI sector.
The company’s core innovation is a smartphone-based tool that enables users to capture and analyze heart sounds for early detection of cardiac issues.

With a 96% success rate on first-time use, Sparrow’s technology has already facilitated 30,000 medical-grade heart recordings over the past few months.
Their product, categorized as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), is also FDA-approved, boosting its credibility in the health-tech field.
Sparrow's next steps include further product developments aimed at making heart and lung condition screening more accessible, anytime and anywhere.
