WhatsApp Testing 'Author message info' Feature in Whatsapp B

Meta owned WhatsApp is the #1 private messaging app that operates personal and business chats from WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business apps. Providing businesses a dedicated app, WhatsApp also releases the features that are dedicated to business such as listings, payments and more.

Now the company is testing a new feature called Author Message Info that will let the message receiver know more about the person who is sending the message.

It will be a good way of creating a trust base for businesses and customers.

At first, this feature will come to WhatsApp business beta users and will eventually be available to every WhatsApp B user and may not come to the default app. (source: Wabetainfo)

With your privacy a priority, Whatsapp will make sure that this feature is available only to users who are connected to your Whatsapp account.

If the user is not connected with you on your Whatsapp B account, WhatsApp will not show the Author Message Info feature to that particular user.
