Philips Hue Launches Brand New Wall Switch Module and Upgraded Dimmer Switch

Philips Hue lights are probably the best smart lights for your home, and now their lineup is improving with new switches. 

Announced Thursday, Signify is releasing new switches to control your smart home.

Philips Hue Wall Switch Module

The new Philips Hue wall switch module is the ideal expansion to any Philips Hue set up. Installed behind existing light switches, it permits clients to transform their current switch into a smart switch and guarantees their savvy lighting is consistently reachable. 

Regardless of whether it is by the application or through voice control you do not need to get up from the chair to turn on the switches that a family member or visitor may have turned off. In the Hue application you can choose light scenes and customize how the switch functions to personalize the ambiance even more. The Philips Hue wall switch module is battery fueled and has a minimum battery life of five years.

The Philips Hue Wall Switch Module will cost $39.95 / €39.95, or $69.95 / €69.95 for a two-pack when it inaugurates in Europe this March, pursued by North America in the summer.

Philips Hue Dimmer Switch

There is an upgrade to the magnetic Philips Hue dimmer switch with a detachable wall plate that lets your household and visitors control Hue lighting without an application. Unlike the new in-wall module, the dimmer is a faux wall switch that attaches to any wall with tape.

It’s available starting on January 26th in Europe for €19.99 before coming to North America on February 23rd for $24.99.
