Facebook Dark Mode on Android: Here's How to Enable It
Facebook dark mode on Android has been rolled out globally and it's not really that dark as Instagram or Messenger's dark mode is. It is like Twitter's dark mode feature with grayscale design and also a white accent for logons and icons that make sense for avoiding boring and irritating black backgrounds.
If you are unable to see a dark mode feature on Facebook for Android app, you should go to Play Store and update Facebook app. Then scroll down and see how to enable dark mode on Facebook for android:
How to Enable Facebook Dark Mode on Android:
First, make sure you have the most up-to-date version of the Facebook app for an Android smartphone.
- Open the Facebook app on your Android device
- Tap on the three lines in the top right corner
- Scroll down to "Settings & Privacy"
- See "Dark Mode" click and Activate
That's it, now close the Facebook app and reopen to see the dark mode in action.
NOTE: Facebook dark mode for Android is still not rolled out to all the users. So, if you can't find it inside the updated Facebook app, you have to wait for the complete rollout.
A series leaker Jane Manchun Wong also confirmed the news with officials and here's a tweet from her official Twitter handle:
