YouTube India Hits 325 Million Monthly Viewership
India is a big market for video-streaming services and YouTube is the #1 platform that provides free video-sharing services in the country. Today, Sanjay Gupta, Country Head & Vice President, Google India said:

On Wednesday, some prominent news sources from India confirmed that the watchtime for gaming videos grew by 2 times and for baking videos, watch time grew by 3 times as compared to Q2 2019, as for YouTube statistics this is huge.
“YouTube today caters to the personal interest of a billion Indians across genres, languages, geographies and age groups, making YouTube the #1 platform for accessing videos in regional languages with Hindi leading the charts followed by Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and others,” Gupta informed.
YouTube claimed that the platform is currently receiving over 325 million unique viewers per month who are 18+ years older and mostly the videos that are being watched on a large scale are in regional languages.
There are more than 2,500 creator's channels on YouTube India that reached one million+ subscribers and currently growing at a rapid rate while thousands of new channels are hitting their first 100K subscribers making Google's YouTube number 1 platform for serious video creators.

Currently, the #1 YouTube channel in India is T-Series music channel with 158M subscribers and on 2nd number is SET India with 86.4M subscribers that are increasing every day.
