A French Company Asked Pakistan for One Million Face Masks Manufacturing
A piece of good news for Pakistanis as A French company has ordered Pakistan to manufacture one million face masks and deliver them quickly.
Exports of Made in Pakistan medical supplies accelerated in the coronavirus time as the world needs more medical supplies to cope with COVID-19 that is roaring on every nation.
These masks will be manufactured in two factories in Faizabad, Sheikhupura Pakistan.
Probably, after lifting partial lockdown, the Pakistan government is looking forward to increasing the business-related opportunities in the country and is working for an easy export environment.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry said:
Today we are in a position to export everything medically, including PPE kits, except N95 masks.
And we've talked to the Ministry of Health about that, he added.
On the other hand, FM Fawad Chaudhry has said that:
Consideration is being given to seven applications related to the ventilator. The trial of three ventilators will start from today (Sunday).
According to private TV (and online media reports), Fawad Chaudhry said about the ventilators that help fight the coronavirus:
There were 58 applications in total for ventilators out of which 13 were shortlisted.
NOTE: Pakistan is still not capable of making own ventilators.
He said that 7 applications related to ventilators are being considered, while the trial of three ventilators will be started from Sunday. He hoped that success in making ventilators would also be achieved in the next few days.
Regarding masks and sanitizers, Fawad Chaudhry said that permission has been granted to export masks after which we will soon be able to export sanitizers as well.
