Apple to Launch iPhone 9 Plus a Budget Smartphone with A13 Chip, Touch ID and More
Rumors were suggesting that Apple may hold a launch event in March 2020 to introduce this budget iPhone, but due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Apple postponed the event or may have rescheduled it.
However, there's no official announcement of this latest device from Apple, 9to5Mac "a trusted source" reported that Apple is already working on iPhone 9 Plus with iOS 14 code that will be massively available in the worldwide markets very soon.
Rumors also stated that it may be a feature phone as per the design-wise and it will reflect iPhone 8 and 6.
Since Apple is releasing budget iPhones, they haven't named them as Plus. It may be a leap forward for people who don't want to buy an expensive iPhone but want to buy the latest device from Apple.
Many news sources also shared that this budget iPhone will not have FaceID feature as it will be a really cheap device, Apple can't afford to offer FaceID in a low-budget phone.
We are also looking forward to the iPhone SE 2 that is also in the news updates and rumored to be announced as a budget-phone by Apple or a successor to iPhone 8 and 11.
